Your credit card details are never stored at ‘Gauri – Die Boutique’.
Your payment (credit card transaction) takes place on the servers of the well-known international payment service provider ‘Paypal’. Your payment data is protected by technical security systems and an additional authorisation process - both when transferring data and saving data on their servers.

In order to make your payment on Paypal you will need to enter your email address. This is an additional fraud protection measure.

Before making an online payment make sure that you are using a secure internet connection: you will notice the closed padlock symbol on the bottom status bar of your browser which will appear as soon as you proceed to the payment pages on ‘Paypal’.

Paypal or ‘Gauri – Die Boutique’ will never send you emails asking you for your credit card details or your login information.
The only time you have to enter your credit card details is while making a payment or updating your Paypal account (for example if you get a new card after your old one has expired). Please also refer to the security information on the Paypal website.

Tipp: If you choose to save your details in a ‘Paypal’ account you won’t have to re-enter your address and card details each time you make a payment via Paypal.

2. Technical standards
For transferring data during your payment process Paypal uses the so-called SSL security system (secure socket layer) together with a 128-bit encryption. This technology offers the best possible security and is thus used by banks, for example, to protect online banking data. You will know if a site uses encrypted data transmission by the closed padlock symbol on the bottom status bar of your browser.

Payment by card is completely safe due to the above-mentioned security standards.

4. Using your data
The personal data you submit on the Internet will not be passed on to any unauthorised third party (unless we are required to do so by law).

5. View, edit or delete personal data
You can view, edit and delete your data at any time - simply by entering your eMail address and password in ‘My account’.

In case you forget your password it can be retrieved by clicking on the link ‘Forgotten your password?’.
A provisional password will immediately be sent to your registered eMail address. Please change your provisional password immediately by entering a password of your choice in your personal account. As only you or persons authorised by you have access to your eMail account, your provisional password is safeguarded against unauthorised access.

Please note: you should keep your account details and password safe and not entrust a third party with your log-in information.

6. Safe and satisfying shopping
We want our customers to be happy.
If you are not satisfied with the delivered goods, you have the right to exchange or return them within 14 days. (Please see ‘Conditions of use’ > ‘4. Right to exchange or return goods’)
